Sunflowers (After Vincent van Gogh) is a miniature, hand-painted oil study on a 5 × 7-inch canvas panel, created in my studio after Van Gogh’s 1888 Sunflowers in the National Gallery, London. This is my own painted master copy, not a print or an original work by Van Gogh.

On a trip to the National Gallery, I picked up a set of 100 postcards to use as starting points for mini oil studies: a way to warm up in the studio, practise, and paint for the fun of it. Working from the Sunflowers postcard, I added my own details and flourishes where I had a little more space.

A small piece of that studio practice, now available as part of my Studio Sale.

Medium: oil on canvas panel
Size: 5 × 7 inches (12.7 × 17.8 cm)
Completed: November 3, 2026

Reference artwork: Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890), Sunflowers, 1888, oil on canvas, 92.1 × 73 cm. The National Gallery, London. Bought, Courtauld Fund, 1924.

Shipping & Delivery

Original paintings are carefully packaged by hand. Please allow 5–10 business days for packaging and dispatch.

Shipping

Shipping costs are quoted separately and invoiced after dispatch, so you only pay for the service you need.

Costs vary depending on destination, delivery timeframe and special handling requirements. Some collectors prefer additional insurance or specialist art couriers, particularly for valuable, one-of-a-kind pieces.

I'm happy to arrange standard shipping, or you can organise your own if preferred.

International Orders

Worldwide shipping is available, with some exceptions. International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes.

If shipping to your location isn't possible or costs are significantly higher than expected, I'll contact you to discuss options. If we can't find a suitable arrangement, you'll receive a full refund, no questions asked.
